WooCommerce Overview

The Blink Payment Gateway for WooCommerce plugin lets your store take payments through the Blink REST API, using card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Open Banking and Direct Debit. You can download the plugin from our GitHub repository.

Which methods can I use? A method only appears at checkout once it has been enabled on your Blink merchant account. Each method needs separate onboarding and approval through the Blink Portal.

  • Adds Blink as a payment option in WooCommerce → Settings → Payments.

  • Takes card payments in two ways: card fields inside your own checkout (Direct), or a redirect to a Blink payment page (Hosted). 3D Secure is handled for you.

  • Offers Apple Pay and Google Pay buttons at checkout, plus Open Banking and Direct Debit where your account has them.

  • Supports pre-authorising a card payment and capturing it later.

  • Lets you refund from WooCommerce.

  • Works with the WooCommerce block checkout.

  • Can show Visa, Mastercard and American Express logos at checkout.
