Enhancements
Account status and account name added to token response
When creating an access token from the tokens resource, the response now includes:
• Account Status: Indicates whether the account is sandbox or live.
• Account Name: Displays the Blink page name
Update to Google Pay element in intent response
The intent response now properly handles Google Pay for both sandbox and live accounts.
This ensures that sandbox accounts in secure environments can successfully use Google Pay.
Amount field added to payment link paid notification
When creating a payment link via the API with the "decide amount" option, customers can adjust the payment amount. Previously, the notification sent when the payment link was paid did not include the processed amount, requiring merchants to fetch payment link details manually.
The notification now includes the amount field, allowing merchants to see the customer’s paid amount directly.
Event type identifier added to webhook notifications for Payment API or Paylink API.
Webhook requests sent to the notification_url now include a new event_type field, enabling better differentiation between scenarios. Previously, events like “Payment Successful” and “Payment Failed” were grouped under the same new_transaction type.
The new event_type field supports the following values:
new_transaction
rerun_transaction
refund_transaction
cancel_transaction
paylink_status_change
repeat_payment_new
