Updates
Clearer Xero descriptions
Xero transactions now use clearer, shorter descriptions to make reconciliation with Blink easier.
More control over receipt emails
Based on merchant feedback, you can now control where receipts are sent. If you want receipts to only go to the email set in a Blink page’s customiser (under Merchant Shop Settings), you can now turn off both the Main notifications email and Additional notifications email.
Improved 13-month date limit messaging
On the Card transactions page, dates beyond 13 months are now greyed out, and the error and “Request archived data” messages have been updated with clearer wording.
Bug fixes
Date filters now stay set
Filters on the Card transactions page no longer reset to the last 7 days when viewing older transactions.
CREDIT payment link popups clearer
Popups no longer mention account owner notifications, the note field is optional, and the “notify account owner” email field is greyed out.
Payments from previous days now update correctly in Manage repeat payments
Transactions that showed as “Captured” now update to “Accepted” (or other statuses) when the crawler changes the status in Card transactions.
Timestamp display corrected
Transactions that showed an incorrect date and time of 10 July 17:30 now display the correct values.
Tendered status now updates correctly
Transactions with “Tendered” status now update to “Accepted” when the status changes.
Payment links no longer show as Paid with Received status
Payment links with a “Received” status no longer display as “Paid” unless a successful transaction has occurred.
Open Banking statuses consistent
Statuses now display with the same format across all Open Banking transactions.
Incomplete Open Banking payments now show as Received
Transactions where the payment flow was initiated but not completed now show a red “Received” status with explanatory hover text.
Status filter cleaned up
The Status filter on the Open Banking transactions page no longer includes irrelevant values such as “approved”, “verified”, “referred”, “reversed”, “deferred”, “captured” or “cancelled”.
Google Pay fixed on new Blink pages
Google Pay now works as expected on newly created Blink pages linked to live MIDs.
Partial capture amounts now display correctly
When capturing a lower amount for a Direct Credit transaction, the Card transactions page now shows the captured amount instead of the original.
