Apple Pay, Google Pay and 3D Secure
Apple Pay on more devices
Apple Pay can now be offered on supported non-Apple desktop devices through a QR code, allowing the customer to continue the payment on an Apple device.
Apple Pay button loading has also been made more reliable.
More reliable Google Pay on Payment Links
Google Pay now works more consistently on Payment Links, including payments that require 3D Secure authentication.
Improved 3D Secure error handling
Missing or invalid return information during a 3D Secure challenge is now handled more safely, reducing unexpected payment-page errors.
Payment Links and Repeat Payments
Protection for fixed Payment Link amounts
Fixed-amount Payment Links now always use the amount originally configured by the merchant.
This prevents the payment amount being changed through the customer’s browser.
Variable repeat-payment schedules
Variable repeat-payment Payment Links now save the selected currency correctly and provide clearer validation when schedule information is incomplete.
More reliable capture notifications
Capture notifications and Payment Link status reconciliation are now more resilient when a temporary processing issue occurs.
Accounting and Statements
Pre-authorisations excluded from Xero sales
API pre-authorisation transactions are no longer sent to Xero as completed sales before they have been captured.
Clearer merchant selection
Merchant filters on statements and invoices now display the merchant ID before the merchant name, making similar accounts easier to distinguish.
Card-Present Transactions
Decline reasons displayed
Card-present transaction details now show the decline reason where one is available.
Clearer live and test transaction reporting
The Live/Sandbox filter has been restored for card-present transactions, making it easier to separate test activity from live payments.
More consistent transaction statuses
Card-present transaction statuses are now displayed more consistently in the V2 transaction view.
Batch Payments
Accurate batch upload previews
The batch upload preview now displays the values from the uploaded file rather than placeholder information.
Currency and Customer Details
Australian dollar handling improved
Australian dollar currency values are now stored and displayed more consistently across payment pages and transactions.
More flexible customer names
Customer name fields now accept common punctuation such as apostrophes, full stops and hyphens.
