New features
Accept EUR Open Banking Payments
Merchants can now accept Open Banking payments in EUR, in addition to GBP on Payment links and Blink pages.
We can support EUR to EUR payments with an entity based in Europe or EUR payments to a UK entity, which will settle in GBP.
Key updates:
- Currency field is now dynamic – If EUR is enabled on your Open Banking account, customers will see EUR as an option in the currency dropdown on Blink Pages.
- Send payment links in EUR – When enabled, merchants can select EUR as the currency when generating a payment link.
- Transaction history & receipts – EUR transactions will be correctly displayed in transaction history, using the appropriate currency symbol. Both merchants and customers will receive receipts showing the payment amount in EUR.
- Improved filtering – Merchants can filter transactions by currency (GBP or EUR), but only if they have processed payments in more than one currency.
Enhancements
Improved filters on Blink card transactions page
- "Pay Link" renamed to "Payment Link" in the Transaction Method filter for consistency.
- "Transaction Type" filter moved from the additional filters popup to the main page, now displayed next to the "Status" filter.
- Expanded "Status" filter – New options added:
- Partially refunded
- Fully refunded
Improved Address Validation for Google Pay
By reducing address-related declines, we've made it easier to complete payments using Google Pay
Key updates:
- Automatic address capture – Address details, including postcodes, will now be automatically pulled from Google Pay when missing.
- Fewer payment failures – This reduces AVS (Address Verification System) declines caused by incomplete address information.
- Faster checkout – Customers can complete payments more quickly with a smoother, more reliable payment journey.
This enhancement is available for Payment Links and Blink Page transactions.
Updates to Repeat Payments CSV download
- New column added – "Number of Processed Payments" inserted between "Next Payment Date & Amount" and "Total Number of Payments"
- Displays the count of processed payments (excluding those marked as "Pending" or "Removed").
- Total Amount Calculation Improved
- Now only includes successful payments ("Captured," "Accepted," or "Partially Refunded").
- Declined, fully refunded, and cancelled payments are no longer counted.
- Partially refunded payments will reflect the remaining amount after refunds
- Column updates for clarity
- "Source" now displays "Payment Link" instead of "PayLink" for schedules created via payment links.
- Swapped columns – "Remaining Instalments" now appears before "Total Amount" for better readability.
Bug fixes
Blink card transactions page layout fix
Column headers were incorrectly positioned below transactions when scrolling. This has now been corrected.
Blink Page customisation issues resolved
- Currency issue – Transactions set to USD in the URL, were incorrectly processed in GBP (£). This has now been fixed, ensuring payments are processed in the correct currency.
- Reference not appearing – The reference was not being sent to the reporting pages. This has now been resolved, and references will appear as expected.
- Field visibility fix – When selecting to hide certain fields, they were not being hidden as intended. This issue has now been corrected, and selected hidden fields will remain hidden.
