Sandbox accounts provide a risk-free environment for testing Blink’s API integration with your applications. These accounts simulate real-world conditions, allowing you to explore the API’s features and validate your payment workflows before going live. You can request access to a sandbox account by signing up here.
By default, sandbox accounts come pre-configured for card payments. If you wish to test Direct Debit transactions, you can do so by connecting to a GoCardless sandbox account through our platform. Currently, only GBP transactions are supported within the sandbox environment, but additional currencies can be enabled upon request.
Key Features
Card Payments: Fully functional out-of-the-box for testing.
Direct Debit Support: Available by linking a GoCardless sandbox account.
Currency Support: GBP is the default currency, with other currencies available on request.
Limitations
Google Pay and Apple Pay: These may not function within the sandbox environment.
Open Banking: This is not currently available within the sandbox environment. Please reach out to our integration team to arrange a demo of how it can work within your integration.
