#### Blink payment API release notes

## New feature

#### Expiry date for paylinks

POST paylink now accepts an expiry_date parameter so paylinks can expire automatically after a chosen date. The field uses dd-mm-yyyy format and can be left blank.

## Updates

#### Clearer repeat payment instalment limits

Custom instalments are now capped at 300. If more than 15 instalments are entered, the first 15 will be created immediately and the rest will be added one by one as payments are processed.

#### CSS limited to Blink elements

Blink CSS can now only applies to Blink API elements and no longer affects other site headings or content. This is made on a new CSS file so will not change existing integrations.

#### SMS number validation

Invalid phone numbers now return an error when sending paylinks via the API.

#### SMS country list updated

Taiwan has been removed from SMS country options when sending paylinks via the API.

#### Email field validation in API custom script

Email input is now validated by the API custom script, and only when the email field exists on the page and is visible.

## Bug fix

*Correct status returned for ECOM transactions* Fetching transactions by transaction_id now shows captured instead of (rf).
