#### Blink payment API release notes

Welcome to our Blink payment API release notes! Here, you will find the latest updates and bug fixes for our API. ## New feature

#### Rerun Payments for Blink Payment - Stripe Merchants

Merchants using Stripe can now rerun payments made via the Virtual Terminal, Payment Links, and Blink Pages originating from both the API and the platform.

*Key features:*

- Partial reruns available
- Unique reference for rerun transactions
- Supports multi-currency transactions

"Rerun" will be available for all successful transactions. This option will not be available for failed transactions.

*Receipts for re-run transactions will include:*

- Transaction ID (Blink)
- Date & time
- Email
- Reference
- Card ending

## Enhancement

#### Apple Pay & Google Pay Improvements

Some payments previously failed due to missing postcode information, leading to AVS declines. We've now improved the process by automatically pulling address details from Apple Pay and Google Pay, reducing failures and making checkout even faster.

#### GET transaction by ID – customer address fields added

The GET /transactions/{transaction_id} endpoint now includes two additional fields in the JSON response:

- customer_address
- customer_postcode

*Key behaviour:*

- For card payments: These fields will return null if no address details were entered.
- For Open Banking transactions: These fields will not be included in the response.
